Boxing: ‘Amir, Pacquiao fight not on cards’
Boxing trainer Freddie Roach has rejected talk of a fight between his charges Amir Khan and Manny Pacquiao.
LONDON:
Boxing trainer Freddie Roach has rejected talk of a fight between his charges Amir Khan and Manny Pacquiao. Rumours of a rift between the two camps surfaced when Khan revealed that the Filipino’s staff insisted they train at different times. However, Roach maintains that there is no desire for the bout from either party. “Manny and Amir won’t fight,” he said. “They have enough respect that they won’t want to do that.”
