Ties with India

KARACHI: This is with reference to the Indian foreign minister’s visit to Pakistan which ended on Friday. We failed to get any meaningful response from the Indians. The world knows that the initiation of the current dialogue process is due to US pressure and the only thing the US wants is that Pakistan should stop considering Indians as their first enemy and concentrate all their resources on the western borders.

The outcome of the dialogue has proved that India does not want to negotiate on equal terms. If India thinks that it can make us give up on our stand on Kashmir and let them interfere in Balochistan then it is mistaken. The interior minister should clarify the Indian foreign minister’s statement that no evidence has been provided by Pakistan regarding Indian involvement in Balochistan, especially since Rehman Malik is on record telling the nation that the dossier containing such evidence has been handed over to India.
