PML-N Gathering: Petition filed to stop Oct 28 rally
Petition contended that government machinery was being used to ensure the success of the rally.
LAHORE:
A writ petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court praying that the PML-N be banned from holding the protest rally scheduled to be held on October 28. Advocate Abdul Hameed Rana filed the petition and contended that government machinery was being used to ensure the success of the rally. He said that Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif had violated public mandate by holding the rally and committed a breach of trust. He prayed that the PML-N be barred from holding the rally.
