Two low-ranking security officials involved in the Kharotabad incident have been suspended by the police.
Five foreigners were killed on May 17 earlier this year in the Kharotabad area of Balochistan when police and FC personnel opened fire at them.
However, the police and FC personnel claimed that the foreigners were armed and were suspected terrorists.
The Balochistan government took notice of the incident and established a tribunal for the inquiry of the incident.
The tribunal's findings revealed that the foreigners were not armed and that security forces did not have any reason to open fire at them.
The tribunal held four officals responsible for the killing of the foreigners; former CCPO Dawood Junejo, FC official Faisal Shahzad, Station House Officer (SHO) Fazalul Rehman and Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Raza Khan were named as the security officials whose actions lead to the unfortunate incident.
Today, police have dismissed SHO Rehman and ASI Khan, while action is yet to be taken against the other two security officials.
According to reports, CCPO Quetta, Dawood Junejo’s status was changed to “On Special Duty”.

what about capital punishment, criminal negligence? if not that, at least life term?
@Usman: You are right. There is no law here except law of the jungle.
And what about the colonel who was directing the assault and was also caught on tape firing at the women. Is he even going to go on trial?
I just pity for anyone who still has hope for this country. Its not a country anymore. Its just a jungle where only the most savage can survive.
