KARACHI: Police said late on Monday night that one of the two people killed in a shootout at Chakra Goth has been identified as a notorious gangster of Lyari. Police said that the gangster, Mullah Nisar, was associated with slain gangster Rehman Dakait’s group in Lyari and was killed on Monday evening when armed motorcyclists attacked the private car of the Crime Investigation Department’s Sub-inspector Ashiq Khosa. The driver was injured while two other people were killed. Korangi SP Chaudhry Asad told The Express Tribune that Nisar was earlier identified as Mukhtiar and Phulpoto. Apart from the Sher Shah Tragedy that claimed over ten lives and wounded several others, Nisar was also wanted by the police in dozens of criminal cases, the SP said.
