Kidnapping : Three booked for abducting girl

RAWALPINDI: A man was beaten and injured and a girl was abducted in separate incidents in Gunjmandi area. Abdul Majeed, a resident of Chungi No 4, lodged a report with the police that Ahmed, Gulab and their accomplices had beaten his brother with sticks and iron rods over a petty issue. The police registered a case against the suspected men on the basis of medical report and started investigation. Meanwhile, a couple was booked for abducting a girl. Zahida Bibi* lodged a report with the police that her daughter Sania*, 18, had been abducted. She said, Sania had gone to Shakeel’s* house to deliver some clothes, but did not return. She alleged that Shakeel*, his wife and daughter had abducted her daughter.
