SIALKOT: Education Department officials have issued termination notices to over 100 PTC teachers for misconduct, out of merit recruitment and not having original appointment orders.  Several teachers have protested in this regard and said that they had been recruited by the Sialkot Education Department in 1995 and were terminated from their jobs with the allegations of misconduct, out of merit recruitment and not possessing original appointment orders. “None of the charges were true then and they are being brought up now because the government wants to replace us with their own people,” said a teacher Mubashar.  The protesters said that the teachers were later reinstated to their jobs on orders of the Lahore High Court (LHC). The protesters have appealed to the Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to take notice of the situation.
