Football: Afghan FC, PIA play out draw

KARACHI:

Afghan FC drew against PIA 1-1 in their Pakistan Premier Football League match yesterday. Zabihullah scored for Afghan FC in the 32nd minute, while PIA’s Abdul Ghaffar equalised for PIA in the 70th minute. Following the draw, PIA replaced NBP at fourth place with 38 points while Afghan FC are third with 39 points.

In other matches, Sherdil Khan’s goal in the fourth minute was enough to give Baloch FC victory over KPT. Baloch FC now occupy 12th place with 16 points while KPT hold on to eighth place with 27 points. PMC Athletico defeated PAF 1-0 in Rawalpindi. Nadeem Amir scored the winner in the 48th minute of the match.
