Accountability court accepts Double Shah's plea bargain

Lahore Accountability Court accepted Syed Sibtul Hasan Shah alias Double Shah's plea bargain on Thursday.

Lahore Accountability Court accepted Syed Sibtul Hasan Shah alias Double Shah's plea bargain on Thursday.


Double Shah who is accused of a Rs5 billion fraud case was presented in accountability court after which the court has ordered him to pay the amount over 10 months in three installments.


The court had further directed double shah to submit bail bonds of worth Rs3 billion till July 24, 2010.


Double Shah filed an application in accountability court claiming that he has already paid around Rs1.5 billion to NAB as first installment. He assured the court that rest of the money will be paid soon.


Double Shah had swindled about Rs5.41 billion from over 24,000 people through a scheme where he offered to double the money people gave to him.
