Aiming Higher: Deadline for European scholarship

KARACHI: To help students and faculty members apply for the Erasmus Mundus Europe Asia scholarship in Europe, the University of Karachi (KU) organised a seminar on Friday. It was attended by more than 400 students and teachers. The pro-vice chancellor and programme coordinator, Prof. Dr Shahana Urooj Kazmi, said that the application process started on October 15. The scholarship provides undergraduate, master, doctoral and post doctoral degrees and members from the administration and academic staff can also apply. The last date for submitting applications is December 1. All the applicants were asked to visit the website so that they could learn about universities, or the degree they were eligible to apply for.
