Our troubled past and uncertain present

LOS ANGELES: This is with reference to Syeda Abida Hussain’s article “Our troubled past and uncertain present – II” (July 14). Abida Hussain is a very prominent politician and an eyewitness of Pakistan’s eventful history. I do not want to interfere with her train of thought at this stage as I want to allow her to complete writing this series. However, after she is done with the her diagnosis of our maladies and missteps, I request her to recount, in brief, her own position on various challenges the nation faced from time to time. And a mention of her struggles and sacrifices for the nation would indeed be welcome.
