Urea: TCP floats international tender

TCP) has floated an international tender for the import of urea to meet local demand.

KARACHI: Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) has floated an international tender for the import of urea to meet local demand. According to TCP officials on Thursday, pre-qualified urea suppliers can submit their bids which should not be less than 50,000 metric tons, meeting standards and specifications of PSQCA. The bidding for the tender will be held on October 28, 2011. The shipment should be made by end November 2011 in line with the tender document. TCP has so far imported 612,000 tons of urea to meet domestic requirements.
