Responding to the allegations leveled by PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif, Rizvi said that the party had been supporting militant organisations financially in exchange for their services during elections.
Earlier, Sharif had criticised the current government of being a "total failure" and accused the MQM of introducing politics of terrorism in Pakistan and added that it was involved in disturbing peace in Karachi.
Rizvi said that the character of PML-N could easily be judged by the Punjab government’s open support to such groups.
The MQM leader also accused Sharif of promoting state terrorism in Karachi that caused the law and order situation in the city to deteriorate.
He alleged that 15, 000 innocent people had been killed in Karachi on Sharif’s orders, adding that a number of young people in the city were jailed and tortured till they were disabled.

The matters relating to law and order situation in the metropolis were discussed at the meeting.
The chief minister informed the prime minister that the law and order situation had greatly improved.
He assured that the provincial government will continue action without any discrimination against those involved in disrupting peace and security in the city and they will be brought to justice.

The same MQM that has filed blasphemy case against Zulfiqar Mirza is accusing someone else of supporting religious freaks? Quite ironic.
the more mqm crticise PMLn,nawaz vote bank will built in punjab kp, blochistan and rural sindh Keep it up MQM.
A correction...I talked about abrupt end of Sharif's first tenure not the operation.
PML-N is the political wing of banned organizations, not the other way round.
I am supporting neither PML-N nor MQM in the latest verbal clash. But here are the few facts:
Operation in Sindh did began during Nawaz Sharif's first tenure but why do they forget that in the following year it ended abruptly. -Death tolls during the second regime of (Late)Benazir Bhutto were way higher than both the tenures of Nawaz Sharif. So, how come Sharif becomes responsible for over 15,000 (I don't know how true these stats are) deaths.
PML-N must also act in a mature way by avoiding fists and abuses etc.....and admitting their mistakes of forming associations with SSP,LeJ,LeT etc...
Coming from the MQM one can only laugh. We all know who is responsible for the sorry state of affairs in Karachi. How can this man talk with a straight face?
@Sindhvoice: There is a saying in Urdu"CHIT BHI MERI PAT BHI MERI AUR ANGUTHA MEREY BAAP KA", having the feudal inherited thoughts leaders are on this way.God keep these leaders at bay from the naive and illiterate masses of Pakistan. They don't know nothing about their shrewdness, and their masked face.
Those slave minded people should be ashamed of their thoughts supporting feudal lord leaders even knowing their cruelty to the poor masses .They see every day beating women, torturing girls at school , kidnapping men women, by their police, but their " so called ghairat " remains intact. Why ? because they have been growing up under the "patronizing" of these lord minded ruthless leaders. ,but listen friends there would not be any change in this Pakistan unless you wake up against feudal system that have ruined your self respect and you cant even speak a word against them. The world is changing ,why there cant be any change in Pakistan? They all are "used " swindling leaders and they know the tricks to fool you. They know you forget every injustices after a month.and then they emerge with a new face, they know your weaknesses. They have been supporting the butcher Talibans, and do you know why there have never been any bomb blast in any of the Muslim league or tehreek e insaaf gathering, only because unobtrusively they support and strengthen them. They are hypocrite leaders and is weakening the foundation of Pakistan there is only one party of middle class people who haven't been in power, and only this party can bring some changes at least eliminating vulnerability of poor masses in rural areas and i'm sure they will yank out the barbaric feudal system from the soil of Pakistan .
It is open truth that Sharifs have full support of banned organizations in Punjab. MQM including all other parties also need to remove all political warriors from within their systems of politics.
The perception that PML-N has links with militant organizations is very strong and the PML-N leadership has done nothing to dispel this perception. So they are at fault as perception is what counts.
I don’t see any MQM leader or worker feeling that he is a “prisoner of conscious”.
I have been listening “Shikwa or Jawab-e-Shikwa” of MQM from my childhood.
"He alleged that 15, 000 innocent people had been killed in Karachi on Sharif’s orders"
15000 people have been target killed in Karachi? Where is this crazy number coming from? Yes PML-N has had links with terror groups and they should be questioned on that. On the other hand, they have not had violent militia groups affiliated with their party indulging in ethnic target killing the way PPP, ANP and MQM do in Karachi.
@Yasser Khan "Nawaz Sharif and Zulfiqar Mirza should stop this hatred propaganda against MQM"
Yes Zulfiqar Mirza's sppeches can be considered hate speech. But if you hear Nawaz's speech they are regular speech that you can expect fom any political opponent. That is not a bad thing. Such things should happen in a democracy where one political party exposes the wrongdoing of the other. That is necessary for accountability.
@Asad: No body is sidelining MQM and in fact they are enjoying continuous power for last 13 years. They always stay in power because opposition does not suit them. They boycott government on the petrol price hike but they rejoined it when prices even increased higher from previous one? The fact is due to political style of MQM, they didn't work on bridging gaps, but their politics has even widened the gaps between MQM and any other party and ethnic group.Actually they MUST do their self evaluation and accountability.Because in this change world, this is not going to work for them. The sooner MQM understands this, the better!
Those were the PML-N lawyers who garlanded Mumtaz Qadri.
@Asad: There is a big difference between trying to stop an epidemic spread by mosquitoes and killing and extortion.
I am no supporter of of any political parties but I am glad that PML-N ties with militant organizations are being highlighted. Have we forgotten this incriminating news: LeJ’s Malik received monthly stipend from Punjab govt and the close ties of Rana Sanaullah to LeJ?
@ Sindhvoice - that sounds like a great line. Can you write it in Sindhi?
Nawaz Sharif and Zulfiqar Mirza should stop this hatred propaganda against MQM which people of Karachi votes, believe me it will do no good to Nawaz Sharif in the longer run.
It is not possible to sideline the MQM in Pakistani politics...the sooner Nawaz Sharif, Zulfiqar Mirza, Imran Khan, Asfandyar Wali and others understand this, the better. Other parties should try to work with MQM rather than against it. There should be peaceful co existence rather than confrontational politics resulting in civil or ethnic wars...
Politics is a dirty game...it involves throwing dirt on one another...Why cant the leaders work for the people rather than criticizing other parties?...what has Nawaz Sharif done for the containment and prevention of Dengue virus in Punjab? People of punjab are still dying of Dengue while their leader is busy accusing other parties...
There is one quote in Sindhi which I translate here for you " A buffalo (whose skin color was entirely black,) once shouted with hatred at white cow (with black tail) as " Oh you Black..!!". Moral of story: Look who is talking!!
Last time I checked, pml n was not not supporting mqm.
Oh really Mr rizvi we dont know i wish Murda khud bolay qatil kaun hai.
