KARACHI: Armed men stole 70 sacrificial cows from a Saylani Welfare Trust cattle farm in Karachi on Wednesday.

Around 30-35 armed men had climbed into the farm at 4:00am by placing ladders on the boundary walls and took 17 people, two guards and 15 others present, hostage and tied them in a room. Mushtaq, the night in-charge, and others were also tortured by the armed men.

Weapons belonging to the guards, mobile phones and  Rs50-60,000 cash was also taken from the farm.

The men brought a truck into the farm and used jute bags to build steps for loading the cattle.

This happens every year. That area brains colony is famous for dacoits. They don't run away with the cows...they keep them at their fams and no one can do anything. It's more like kidnapping the cows. They ask for ransom nd then they return the cows. It happened to my uncle last year.
