@Dr Bilal Piracha: Ameen
He was our eldest and the most respected cousin of the family. He always dreamed to be a Fighter pilot and was very happy to be promoted to Wing Cdr. recently. He was leading the formation of three Mirage planes on October 19th at around 10:00 am, with two Sq.leaders in the two planes behind. One of those Sq. leaders was there on his Jazaza. He told our family that Asim told them just a mintue before his Shahadat that the electronic system of plane had failed. They requested him to eject immidiately but he said " No, I would try my best to save the plane" After a couple of seconds when the plane got fire, then the Sq. Ldrs in the following planes shouted again on the transmismitters " Eject now Eject". But it was too late! The plane was upside down , he ejected and the parashute did not open. He embraced Shahadat with all the grace like a Brave Muslim soldier!!! We salute you Wing Cdr. Asim Piracha ! You are our pride ! You are our Hero ! You are alive 'being a Shaheed' but we do not have the power to feel your presence with us! May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus and may Allah grant his parents and all his family with Sabar and the courage to live without him being there and may Allah grant us the Shahadat as well . Ameen !
May Allah grant him heaven, and his family the strength and patience.
