Visit: NUML assured of help in teaching French

Establishment of Alliance Francaise in Faisalabad and Peshawar Campuses of NUML.

France will provide all possible assistance to the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) in teaching French language. This was said by the new French Cultural Counsellor Frederic Bessat during his visit to the university on Tuesday.


The counsellor met Director-General (DG) Brig Azam Jamal and Head of French Language Department Dr Shazra Munawer and discussed issues relating to teaching and learning of French.

Bessat while talking to the DG said that France is highly appreciate of the contributions made by NUML for providing a unique platform for French language learning in Pakistan and cultural exchanges between the two countries.

The two discussed NUML’s split degree programmes with the University of Franche-Comte in Besancon, University of Rouen, summer scholarship for faculty members, summer scholarship for students, establishment of French Language Laboratory in NUML and establishment of Alliance Francaise in Faisalabad and Peshawar Campuses of NUML.
