Pak-China Relations: Culture comes under discussion

The cultural relations between Pakistan and China came under discussion during a Chinese delegation’s visit to Lok Virsa in Islamabad on Tuesday, said a press release issued by the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage. They were extremely happy to see the “hall of silk thread” along with Chinese contributions towards Karakoram Highway in Pakistan reflected on the wall of the “link passage with China”. The delegation was led by Lieutenant General Ren Haiquan, Vice President, National Defence University, China. On arrival, senior Lok Virsa officials briefed Haiquan about the cultural preservations undertaken by the institute including its link with a network of community-based organization, artists and craftsmen.
