Golf: Mickelson to compete in Singapore

SINGAPORE: Phil Mickelson and Graeme McDowell are among the top golfers set to compete at the $6 million Barclays Singapore Open next month. The American and Northern Irish stars will be joined by fellow major winners Padraig Harrington of Ireland and YE Yang of South Korea. The co-sanctioned Asian and European Tour event will be held at the Sentosa Golf Club between November 10 -13. Mickelson, a four-time major winner and currently ranked number 10 in the world, has never finished higher than ninth in the competition while McDowell, the 2010 US Open champion, tied third last year.
