Kamran Khan drew first blood for KRL in the 21st minute to ensure that the team was in the lead at the breather. However, PAF equalised through Mansoor Khan in the 54th minute and defended resolutely thereafter.
“I think PAF played really well,” KRL coach Tariq Lutfi told The Express Tribune. “We were expecting to score more goals but they gave their all to draw this match.
“It leaves me with the feeling that my team needs to play better in upcoming matches without underestimating the other side.”
KRL remain on top of the league with 38 points after 14 matches, while PAF climb up to 15th position with 10 points.
Meanwhile, Muslim FC defeated PIA 1-0 courtesy Mohammad Hanif’s goal in the 51st minute. Muslim FC climb up to fourth place with 32 points following the result, while PIA occupy third spot with 33 points.
Elsewhere, the match between Baloch FC and HBL ended in a goal-less draw.
