Football: Afghan FC down NBP in PPFL

KARACHI: Captain Jadeed Khan scored the winner in the 61st minute as Afghan FC continued their winning run in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) after beating NBP 1-0 while KPT overcame Police 2-1 in Quetta. Afghan are now placed second in the PPFL table behind KRL. Meanwhile, KPT came from behind to beat Police. After Mohammad Hafeez struck a 46th-minute goal, KPT equalised six minutes later through Naveed Ahmed before Jamalludin scored in the 74th minute to seal the win.
