Four people were killed in various incidents of violence in Karachi on Tuesday.

Four people were killed in various incidents of violence in Karachi on Tuesday.

Unidentified gunmen killed a doctor affiliated to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in Malir's Al-Falah area on Tuesday.

The police said some four armed men entered in Shahab Clinic shot Dr Irfan in the head. He was being shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center but succumbed to his injures on the way.


The deceased was a resident of Al Falah Colony and an activist of the MQM.

In a separate incident, the police recovered a body from the Lyari area of the city. The deceased had his hands tied-up and was shot in the head from point-blank range.

Two more people were killed at Alladin Park when armed men opened fire on them. Both victims sustained bullet injuries to their heads and died on the spot.

Security in Karachi has been beefed up while police and rangers continue searching for the perpetrators.
