Six armed robbers stole Rs13.5 million from a cattle dealer and also injured him for putting up resistance on Sunday. According to police officials, the robbers held cattle dealer Ismail at gunpoint and stole Rs13.5 million from him. The accused also fired upon Ismail when he tried to resist. Ismail was shifted to Nishtar Hospital, while hundreds of cattle dealers staged a protest demonstration and blocked traffic at the Bahawalpur Bypass. Local police authorities reached the spot and assured protestors that the dacoits would be arrested soon. Police have registered a case.
