NAB Additional Prosecutor General Malik Jamil Awan told the court during the hearing of references against Interior Minister Rehman Malik, that references filed against Malik were false and concocted.
Hearing of NAB references against Interior Minister has been adjourned till August 12.
Arguments for and against the withdrawal of the cases against the Interior Minister will be heard in the next hearing. The withdrawal applications were moved by Additional Prosecutor General NAB in the Accountability Court, Rawalpindi.
The Bureau had filed applications for the withdrawal of the two NAB references against Mr Malik as no substantial evidence has been found against him.
