Assassination attempt: CM orders probe into attack on Zehri

Unknown armed men planted bomb near convoy of Zehri late Friday and detonated it with a remote control.

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani has ordered an investigation into an attack on the convoy of Balochistan Minister for S&GAD and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Sardar Sanaullah Zehri, said official sources on Saturday.

Unknown armed men planted a bomb near a convoy of Zehri late Friday and detonated it with a remote control. Sardar Zehri was on way to his home in Anjira after attending a party gathering in Gadar Sorab. However, Zehri and his convoy remained safe in the attack.

It may be mentioned here that Sanaullah Zehri is a prominent tribal figure in Balochistan. Further investigations into the incident are underway.
