Linguistics: CM approves of teaching Mandari
Language will be introduced as a non-credit subject and will replace Arabic and Persian.
KARACHI:
The provincial chief minister Qaim Ali Shah has approved the policy to introduce Mandarin as a language subject from grade VI to XII in all public and private institutions of Sindh.
The language will be introduced as a non-credit subject and will replace Arabic and Persian. Students who opt to learn the language will be given special incentives such as stipends, scholarship, recreational trips and free books.
