ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Thursday that diplomatic activities were being regulated as part of efforts to ensure peace in the federal capital. Addressing the media outside the parliament, he denied reports regarding the building of a bunker by the US embassy in Islamabad. He said as a result of strict security measures in the federal capital, some major terrorists’ plots had been foiled. He said that terrorists wanted to target certain specific places in the Red zone and headquarters of an elite agency, adding that the rehearsal spots of these terrorists were also located.
