Global arab meeting: Wateen participates in conference

RAS AL KHAIMAH: Wateen Telecom has announced that it was the only Pakistani company that was invited to participate in Horasis Global Arab Meeting held in the UAE emirate of Ras Al Khaimah from October 9-12. The objective of the annual meeting was to create an opportunity for global leaders to meet, engage in business and discuss visions for a sustainable future, says a press release. Wateen CEO Naeem Zamindar, who was selected co-chair for the event, said: “Not only was it a chance to interact with global leaders, it presented an opportunity to demonstrate Pakistan’s crucial role in the global technology and telecommunications stage. I hope that our participation will help define Pakistan’s socio-economic relationship – one of partnership and cooperation – with the Arab world.” PRESS RELEASE
