Football: KRL down PMC 2-0

KARACHI: In-form striker Kaleemullah scored a brace as KRL continued their superb run in the Pakistan Premier Football League, beating PMC Athletico 2-0 in the only match of the day in Rawalpindi. The game started off in a dull manner, witnessing a sea-saw battle from both the sides. KRL made several attempts to break the deadlock but the PMC defense defied them as both teams went into the second half without scoring.  KRL showed more aggression as the second session kicked off scoring via Kaleemullah in the 64th and 83rd minute. In today’s matches, Police take on KESC at the Sadiq Shaheed Stadium in Quetta, while Afghan FC will face HBL at the same venue later in the day.
