Football: Muslim FC down NBP

KARACHI: Muslim FC stunned NBP 1-0 in their Pakistan Premier Football League match yesterday in Quetta. Saeed Ahmed scored the lone goal in the 34th minute of the match. NBP currently hold the third position in the league with 34 points, while Muslim FC now lie in seventh with 26. Meanwhile, PIA thrashed Baloch FC 4-0 in Quetta as Abdul Ghafar, Nazeer Ahmed, Zeeshan Ali and Shakir Lashari scored a goal each to help PIA climb up to second spot in the table with 32 points. Elsewhere, Navy and PAF played out a goal-less draw in Rawalpindi, while KPT defeated Pel 2-0 in Quetta.
