Video of the day: Junaid Jamshed can still sing
What is drawing fans to his recent video is his trip to Toronto for the Canada Muslim Festival 2011 where the bearded, now reformed, Junaid Jamshed sings Dil Dil Pakistan an all-time cherished Pakistani national song, which is also considered as the second national anthem of the country.
Even though Jamshed sings only one verse of the song, the magic of his voice makes you replay the video over and over again to reminisce a singer Pakistanis will never forget.

@ Ali He sang national song, not some romantic song. So his Islam is still intact if that is how you are going to judge a Muslim.

Why would you call him 'reformed'? He was a great person earlier as well. He was a good singer and it's sad that he left it in his misunderstanding of islam. Oh well.
A great singer. I love his song "Yeh sham phi nahin aaye gi" .............. beautiful. Yousaf Islam (Cat Stevens) gave up singing decades ago after reverting to Islam but recently he has recorded a song with Ronin i think.

Even when he was singing I do not find any vulgur songs by him

JJ life inspired me too much. He is a dedicated man who were very successful when singing & a sudden change in his life gives much inspiration to youths when he selects the right path. His life is a unique example to the youths.
He shouldn't have quit singing..... Huge loss to pakistani music
