Ghulam Dastgir and Babar had gone to collect money from the man they had sold a bicycle to, Akhtar Hussain, near Saifabad on Jhang Road.
Hussain and his brother Sabir, started quarreling with Dastgir and his son. Sabir opened fire at them resulting in the death of both father and son.
The accused immediately fled from the scene.
In order to conceal their crime, the accused informed the police that the victims had arrived to rob the house.
The police have arrested both Akhtar Hussain and Sabir.
The bodies of the victims have been sent to a local hospital for autopsy.
