The decision to this effect was made at a meeting of the Karachi Rabita Committee of the PPP, MQM and ANP held at CM House on Saturday, said a statement issued by PPP Sindh.
The meeting was attended by the PPP leaders, Rashid Hussain Rabbani, Najmi Alam and Waqar Mehdi, MQM leaders, Waseem Aftab and Hammad Siddiqi while Ameen Khatak, Bashir Jan and Riaz Gul represented the ANP Sindh.
The meeting decided to remove the hoardings depicting portraits of leaders of their respective parties as well as banners and flags.
The recommendations of the Karachi Rabita Committee will be sent to Syed Qaim Ali Shah for issuances of a notification by the Sindh government in this regard and a code of ethics also beprepared, the statement said.
