Sit-in: JUI protest against the police

SUKKUR: Disappointed with the performance of the police, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) workers staged protest on the National Highway near the Sukkur toll plaza on Sunday. They held placards and were led by JUI General Secretary and senator Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro and JUI Sindh chapter JUI Maulana Abdul Qayoom Halejvi. The protesters claimed that the police had failed to arrest suspects and claimed that they had killed two JUI workers, Mustafa Kamal Pirzado and Mohammad Soomar Chohan. They chanted slogans against the Sukkur SSP and the Sukkur Airport SHO.
