Karachi search operation: 36 suspects apprehended in Pak Colony

KARACHI: At least 36 suspects were arrested in Karachi during a search operation conducted by police in the Pak Colony area on Saturday night, reported Express 24/7.

Over 300 police personnel cordoned off the areas of Purana Golimar and Shahnawaz Chowk in Pak Colony. The operation lasted for more than one and a half hour.

However, the operation could not make any major achievements as only two licensed pistols could be seized.

Two close relatives of former members of the Balochistan Assembly were also taken into custody.

Meanwhile, two people were killed in the Sachal area of Karachi in an incident of target killing.

Reports say that two unidentified men opened fire at the office of a political party in Bilal Shah Norani area of Sachal Town.

One political worker, Jamal Khan, died on the spot while the other, Zaman Khan, passed away in the hospital from gunshot wounds. Another man identified as Haider was also injured in the incident.

Interior Minister Rehman Malik ordered a joint investigation into the incident.

Six more people were injured in firing incidents in Kharadar, Nazimabad, Soldier Bazar, Landhi and Lee Market.

@ PAkistani first and Maulana Diesel, the statistics shows that in the people killed around 20 % of the are pukhtuns, so stop promoting the propaganda that there's ethnic cleansing going on in Karachi. Also from the killings of Pakhtuns and this propaganda only ANPs votebank is increasing, so you can judge by the rule of thumb who is behind it.

is this what CIA asked you guys to do before putting forth your begging bowl???????? now even CIA knows that the only way to make you guys bend is to stop giving money!! Then you will bend over, run and catch your own citizens ( terrorists) and hand them to CIA
