Why the burqa ban makes no sense (III)

LONDON: Faiza S Khan’s article provides good arguments from both a pragmatic and a feminist point of view. However, it is their country and as Sarkozy puts it, it is a nation that has struggled for its freedom. The Nikaab, or veil, makes many people uncomfortable. It has no solid justification in our religion and I think Sarkozy is doing his Muslim citizens a favour.
