Faisalabad won the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council Challenge Cup on Saturday, defeating Karachi by 17 runs. Faisalabad batted first scoring 207 runs in 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets. Muhammad Usman was the top-scorer with 40 runs while Anwar Ali chipped in with 28. Majid and Wahab shared a wicket each. In reply, Karachi’s batsmen put up a good fight but fell just short being dismissed for 190.
Shahzad Iqbal was the top-scorer with 38, while Usman and Rashid took a wicket each. Faisalabad’s Muhammad Usman was declared man of the match, while Tayyab Rehmani of Gujranwala was adjudged player of the tournament.
