Rugby: Springbok’s Botha out of World Cup

WELLINGTON: South Africa’s Bakkies Botha will play no further part in the defending champions’ World Cup campaign in New Zealand because of an Achilles tendon injury. In a huge blow for South Africa, the 76-Test veteran will leave the camp today to head back home. “I normally keep my emotions out of sight but it was emotional to talk to the team and tell them I would be going home,” said Botha.
