FAISALABAD: Five people of a family were shot dead over an old enmity in the Balochni police station precincts on Tuesday morning. According to the police, Muhammad Gulzar, Umar Daraz, Nazar Husain, Babar Ali and Muhammad Irshad of Kala Gujjar Group,residents of chak 99-RB, were going to court when their rivals Muneer Gujjar and his gang opened indiscriminate fire on them. A man, his two sons, brother and cousin received serious bullet injuries and died on the spot during the shooting, while the assailants fled the scene. Police officials arrived at the spot and sent the bodies to Tehsil Headquarter (THQ) Hospital Jaranwala for an autopsy. Further investigation is under progress.
