NEW YORK:
This is with reference to Mahreen Aziz Khan’s “Mindless media-ocrity” (July 9). The article is well-written and one is in agreement with her observations. Those who host current affairs programmes on most television channels are by and large not doing their job properly. As far as invited guests go, the same ones are called all the time and this means viewers having to hear the same kind of opinions over and over again. Most TV talk shows lack original content. Why don’t television managements heed public opinion and air shows which people can relate to?
