Crime: Man held for possessing liquor; house burgled

ANF arrested a British-Pakistani for possessing 15 bottles of liquor when he arrived at Benazir Bhutto Airport.

The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) on Monday arrested a British-Pakistani for possessing 15 bottles of liquor. Nawazish Ali had the contraband in his luggage when he arrived at Benazir Bhutto International Airport.


The nabbed man was handed over to Airport police for further investigation.  Akhtar Mehmood, a resident of Rahimabad Colony lodged a report with the same police that unidentified thieves entered his house when nobody was home and made away with jewellery, prize bonds and other valuables worth hundreds of thousands.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Saqib lodged a report with the police that his car (IDH-818), was in Chaklala Scheme III on Tuesday, from where unidentified car lifters stole it. The police registered a case under relevant sections of law.
