Sadiqabad: Two booked for rape

Culprits fled after realising that people had gathered outside after hearing her scream.

RAWALPINDI:

A woman was allegedly raped by two men in the Sadiqabad area on Tuesday. 

Police sources said that the victim, Saira*, a resident of Muslim Town, had gone to a private college for a job interview on Sunday, where the security guard and an accomplice locked her in a room and allegedly raped her.

The security guard of Indus College A-Block, Shah* had offered to help Saira get a job at the college. When she went to the college on Sunday morning, Shah took her into a separate room where another man was already present.

They locked the room from inside and raped her, she alleged. They fled after realising that people had gathered outside after hearing her scream. Saira is a married mother of a one-year-old child. *Names changed to protect identity
