Cost Accounting: SECP invites comments on order

SECP invited comments on the draft of Fertiliser Industry Order 2011 that has been issued by the commission

KARACHI: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has invited comments on the draft of Fertiliser Industry (Cost Accounting Records) Order 2011 that has been issued by the commission, a statement said on Monday. SECP has developed and issued notification for the draft of Fertiliser Industry (Cost Accounting Records) Order 2011 for the chemical fertiliser industry to facilitate maintenance of records by the companies engaged in production and manufacture of fertiliser.

Fertiliser companies will now be required to maintain cost accounting records including all particulars relating to utilisation of material, labour or other inputs of items of cost as would be necessary.
