MULTAN:
Dozens of locals held a person who tried to abduct an eight-year-old girl and handed him over to the police on Saturday. According to police officials, Lohari gate area resident Zeeshan allegedly tried to abduct Akhtarabad resident Amjad’s daughter from outside her school after recess. When the child cried for help several people gathered at the scene and beat up Zeeshan before handing him over to the Lohari police. “We saw him trying to escape with the girl. He was pulling her outside the school and she was screaming for help so we caught him,” said a school guard. Police officials are interrogating Zeeshan and have filed a case against him.
