Relief For The Poor: 2,000 more Utility Stores promised

RAWALPINDI: Prime minister’s adviser on Industries Muhammad Basharat Raja said on Saturday that Utility Store Corporation has witnessed a record sale in the month of Ramazan. He said the stores are providing essential items at subsidised prices. He expressed these views while inaugurating a Utility Store on Saturday. Raja said at present, there are 5,600 Utility Stores across the country, which were providing relief to the citizens and supplying quality items of daily use on cheaper rates as compared to the open market. He said in order to provide relief to the people, 2,000 new Utility Stores would soon be established countrywide.
