Continued Resistance: Two NATO oil tankers destroyed

The law enforcement agencies rushed to the spot soon after the incident.

QUETTA: Two Nato oil tankers were set on fire by unidentified armed men in Gukurt area of Bolan Pass on Saturday, some 40 kilometres away from the provincial capital. According to the official sources, the two oil tankers, carrying fuel supplies for Nato forces stationed in Afghanistan, were on their way from Karachi to Chaman, a bordering area with Afghanistan, when unknown armed men, who riding a motorcycle, opened indiscriminate fire on the vehicles. As a result, two oil tankers caught fire and were completely destroyed. The law enforcement agencies rushed to the spot soon after the incident and cordon off the area to search for the culprits. Investigations are underway.
