FAISALABAD: A Christian youth embraced Islam on Thursday. According to villagers in Khushpur Sammundri, Asif Masih went to Jamia Rizvia Mazhar-i-Islam Jhang Bazaar and told the jamia director Sahibzada Hajji Fazal-i-Kareem that he wanted to convert after he had begun reading the Quran and was impressed by Islamic principles. Kareem recited the kalmia and also changed Masih’s name to Muhammad Asif.
