
Praising young entrepreneurs for being dynamic and an asset for the country, President Asif Ali Zardari has assured them that the government will provide every possible facility to promote the industry.
The president was talking to a four-member delegation of Faisalabad industrialists at the presidency.
The delegation comprised Industrial Police Liaison Committee (IPLC) chief Syed Omar Nazar Shah, Faisalabad Development Trust (FDT) Chairman Mian Mohammad Tayyab, FDT trustee Hassan Munawar and Young Entrepreneurs Organisation Pakistan President Danish Ayub. The president acknowledged that young industrialists were future of the country, who had done best work and were paying taxes which the government desperately needed for improving the economy.
Encouraging the entrepreneurs to play a significant role, he said he had planned a meeting of young entrepreneurs to discuss their problems and share ideas to collectively evolve a strategy for advancement of the country. He expressed hope that this gathering of young entrepreneurs would help pull the country out of economic crisis, adding implementation of their viable recommendations would help the textile sector gain momentum for a systematic and gradual improvement.
The president recalled that prior to joining politics, he himself was a ginner and said he would try his best to address the difficulties faced by ginning and textile sectors.
