Cable Crooks: Railway police arrest cable operator

KHANEWAL: Railways police have registered a case against a cable operator on charges of using railway property illegally.

According to police officials, the owner of the ‘B4U’ cable network, Malik Rashid, had installed a cable over the railway track in violation of the Railways Act and had been broadcasting illegal transmissions from his residence. Police also suspect other cable operators in the area to have been using railway resources. Police  have registered a case against the accused and have taken him into police custody. Police

are investigating the incident.
