Preserving Heritage: Mohatta to be made cultural complex

KARACHI: Sindh’s chief secretary, Raja Muhammad Abbas, asked the culture department to improve the plans for turning Mohatta Palace into a “cultural complex.” Abbas was heading a meeting to review the renovation programme on Friday. The meeting was also attended by the secretaries of finance, culture and land utilisation. The DCO, Muhammad Hussain Syed, also attended the meeting. The culture secretary and DCO were told to review the master plan for the complex. They said that they would submit a report within a week.
