CORPORATE CLASS: National Group wins all six seats

FAISALABAD:

The National Group, led by Mian Idris of Sitara Group, won all six seats of Corporate Class in elections for the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Friday and this came despite a boycott of the polls by rival Founder Group.

Election Commission members, Sheikh Mukhtar Ahmad and Rana Mushtaq Ahmad, said that the entire election process was completed in a transparent manner. Fifteen candidates were in the run for six seats of Corporate Class for a one-year term. Some 298 voters cast their votes.
